In-Person or Virtual? Therapy and Parenting Services the Way you Want!

Sometimes there's nothing better than the personal feeling that comes from meeting face to face and sitting across from someone. We can meet in my office for that traditional therapy interaction.

Other times, it might feel more comfortable just to be in your own space. Maybe you have a very hectic schedule and you need to fit in a session between work, car pool and soccer practice. On-line sessions can work perfectly in these situations. You can get the support and guidance that you need in a way that works for you.

My Clinical Social Worker License allows me to provide therapy services to anyone in Georgia. However, I can work with you for parenting services no matter where you are!

Here's How I Can Help...

Therapy offers vital support for individuals and couples facing various challenges and transitions in their lives.

Individual Therapy

Sometimes, simply coping with everyday situations can be difficult and can easily become overwhelming. Additional conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, emotional childhood wounds, grief, medical or psychiatric illness, family conflict, or divorce can make even small stressors seem impossible to manage. Individual therapy is a place where you can have a safe non-judgemental space to address these issues. But therapy goes beyond just learning how to survive these difficulties - you can explore areas of personal and emotional growth, learn how to thrive and move forward in your life in all of the positive ways you can imagine.

Couples Therapy

For couples, therapy serves as a valuable avenue to develop communication skills, learn how to solve problems collaboratively, and deepen intimacy. Couples can also explore the factors that may have contributed to betrayal or infidelity, then find ways to heal, rebuild trust and connection. Open dialogue and empathy are key in addressing these relationship dynamics, allowing each partner to feel heard and valued. By prioritizing these efforts, couples can create a supportive atmosphere that promotes love, respect, cooperation, and true intimacy - ultimately strengthening the relationship. Couples can experience significant growth and healing, leading to a more fulfilling and harmonious relationship.

When Life Starts to Feel Overwhelming,

How Do You Move Beyond Divorce and Separation?

Divorce and Separation are just hard. It's hard for you and it's hard for your children. But there are ways that you can emerge from this most excruciating life event, heal and even thrive.

Divorce or Separation "Recovery"

Whether it was your decision to end a relationship or your former partner, there's always a period of grieving. Divorce recovery involves understanding what happened in your past relationship, but not staying stuck in it. Instead, you'll learn how to heal, rediscover yourself and move forward with life.

Parenting Coordination
Parenting coordination serves as an effective alternative dispute resolution process aimed at helping co-parents establish a more structured and respectful relationship. Addressing co-parent problems is critical, as ongoing co-parent conflict can have very damaging effects on children.
By equipping parents with practical skills and strategies to minimize conflict, parenting coordination prioritizes the well-being of the children involved. Through improved communication and structured boundaries, co-parents can create a more stable environment for their children, ensuring that their emotional and developmental needs are met. Ultimately, the goal of parenting coordination is to foster a healthy co-parenting dynamic that benefits both parents and, most importantly, the children.

Are you involved in active court litigation or need to comply with a court order? No problem, I can work with you, your attorneys, Guardians Ad Litem and the court to address your court ordered goals. I frequently write reports for the court and appear for testimony.

Co-Parent Coaching

Co-parenting can often be challenging, especially when navigating complex dynamics with a difficult co-parent. One-on-one co-parent coaching offers invaluable support, focusing on enhancing your strengths as a parent. This tailored guidance helps you cultivate a mindset and skill set that facilitate healthier interactions with your co-parent.

Co-parent coaching doesn't include your other co-parent - the focus will be on what you can do to meet the needs of your children and stay true to your own mission as a parent. By learning effective communication strategies and conflict resolution techniques, you can prioritize your children's needs above personal differences. The coaching process empowers you to approach co-parenting with confidence, ensuring a healthier environment for your children.

Isn't it time to invest in yourself and your future?

The benefits and value you'll gain by investing in therapy and parenting services lasts well beyond the time we work together. You're investing to transform your future! You deserve to have a life filled with joy, calmness and peace.
